  • Len Dawes (born April 11, 1962 in Nanaimo, British Columbia) was a Canadian defenceman who was chosen 36th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He played junior hockey for the Nanaimo Clippers of the British Columbia Hockey League and the Victoria Cougars of the Western Hockey League from 1977 to 1982. Dawes turned pro in 1982-83 with the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League. After playing 30 games that season and 13 games the next, he retired in 1984.
