  • It's worth noting that this tomb is not a "First Age Tomb" in the traditional sense. This structure was created by Leviathan upon discovering Amyana's death. The tombs of most solars in the First Age were created by the Dragon-Blooded in the Shogunate, are trapped with dozens of impossibly deadly devices to prevent entry from reincarnated Solars, and are completely loaded with powerful First Age artifacts. Firstly, it is a manse that creates three hearthstones. The first is the Gem of Solid Water, a two-dot hearthstone that can solidify small amounts of water. The second is the Stone of Mela's Breath, a one-dot hearthstone that can bubble up air when placed in water and allows its bearer to breathe, albeit awkwardly, if the hearthstone is removed from any socket and placed in its bearer's mouth. The third is the Stone of Prismatic Water, which allows its bearer to color water as he or she chooses; mostly useful for making water opaque. It is an eternally shifting collection of brightly-colored crystal plates and air bubbles, all deep at at the bottom of an obscure point far out in the Western ocean. This shifts and movements form a pattern, both visual and auditory, that create a strange, sad sort of melody mourning the loss of the Queen entombed within. Entry was fairly easy compared to the feats necessary for First Age Tombs. The party merely needed to breathe underwater at the bottom of the ocean, interpret the rhythms of the dance of the plates, and slip in between two razor-sharp pieces at an appropriate moment. The only treasure located within were the three Hearthstones and the four Castestones. Removing the hearthstones caused the manse's movements and sounds to slow to a stop, and the party left it considerably more peaceful than it had been before. In Reflections, this manse was revisited by the newest members of the Champions of the West and, upon sensing the presence of Amiana's purified Solar Shard and the party solving a rather tricky puzzle, underwent a startling geomantic change and revealed a hidden chamber containing Amiana's personal effects, a Firebird Gem, and a bright gold Castestone.
