rdfs:comment
  • Winky's Walkway is the first stage in Monkey Mines from Donkey Kong Country. It comes after the boss battle with Very Gnawty and before Mine Cart Carnage.
  • In this level, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will not face any tough obstacles or hazards, but they will meet a newly introduced Animal Buddy, Winky. Winky can jump at high lengths in this level and is able to help the Kongs to reach Bananas and Bonus Levels, Defeat enemies that the Kongs can't defeat by themselves such as Zingers. This level also marks the first appearance of a newly introduced enemy, Oil Drum. These enemies can shoot out enemies such as Slippas at the Kongs. Other than Oil Drums, this level also contains Gnawties, Kritters, Neckies, and a single Zinger. This level is known to be one of the shortest levels in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Game Boy Advance versions of Donkey Kong Country, but not in the Game Boy Color version, due to the level being extended
