  • Scatterbrain was a term used to describe an individual who found it difficult to concentrate on one thing at a time. In 2270, Montgomery Scott referred to the computer of the USS Enterprise as a scatterbrain when it re-enabled gravity controls shortly after deactivating them. (TAS: "The Practical Joker")
  • This is a very fast Song. Some people try to tap the Solos A and C (which are the hardest parts) The beginning opens up with fast RYBOBYR snakes, and then later has you play single notes followed by fast changing chords. After this is done, the drums kick in and a section of fast HOPO's and strumming comes, as you have to hit hopos and then strum to red, then yellow, then blue, and then the groove comes. The groove isn't too hard, but watch out for abrupt stops and short burts of fast notes. After this, you get Crazy Keys, where tapping is recommended, since missing wont cause you to strum. After the first half, random red notes pop in, making this section even harder. After this, more slider notes but slower, so it's your choice to tap or not.
  • A monster created by Lord Zedd from a kaleidoscope that Adam dropped, Scatterbrain had the ability to erase people's memories. Immediately upon arriving on Earth, it manages to erase the memories of Kimberly, Billy, and Tommy. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha devise a plan to save their friends. Adam collects some prisms from Billy's lab to use to reflect Scatterbrain's beam, bringing back the memories of their friends. Just when Adam arrives to save the Rangers, Scatterbrain uses the beam on him, erasing his memory and leaving Aisha and Rocky to face the monster on their own. They try to secure the dropped prisms, but they too fall victim to the Scatterbrain's beam and lose their memory.
  • Due to a title like “Scatterbrain”, people shouldn’t expect a band name like that very seriously. And Scatterbrain definitely had its share of humor in its releases, with songs such as “Don’t Call Me Dude” (having humorous lyrics in regards to a guy’s girlfriend leaving him for a lifeguard on the beach one day, then he ended up in an insane asylum after assaulting someone who called him “dude”), covering the Cheech and Chong comedy duo song “Earache My Eye”, and “I’m With Stupid” (in regards to a king causing his countrymen grief, then he awoke one day with a second, retarded head on his shoulder).

However, the band did have serious chops as musicians though, seamlessly combining all kinds of styles together, such as power metal, thrash metal, incorporating piano, and even singing that sounded like it would belong on a 1950s pop recording. Forming from the ashes of the band Ludichrist, Scatterbrain meshed all kinds of styles together with their debut of Here Comes Trouble. Due to success of their single of “Don’t Call Me Dude” from the album being played on high rotation on Z-ROCK radio and MTV alike, the band toured with Fox, debuting a new song of “Grandma’s House of Babes” while on the road, which would make it onto their second album. Unfortunately they were never able to continue building with the momentum from their debut/”Don’t Call Me Dude” song, disbanding after the release of their third album. Their albums were released through In-Effect, Inc. and Pavement.

They try to secure the dropped prisms, but they too fall victim to the Scatterbrain's beam and lose their memory. The prisms fall to the ground next to Bulk and Skull, who had been watching the fight and had finally discovered the identity of the Power Rangers. With the Rangers no longer able to do anything and not even familiar with each other, Bulk and Skull confront the monster, hiding the prisms behind their backs. When the Scatterbrain shoots its beam at them as well, the prisms reflect the beams, restoring the Rangers' memories and morphing them. However, when the Rangers go to check on Bulk and Skull, the two teens have lost the knowledge of saving the Power Rangers and also forgot the Rangers' true identities. When Lord Zedd makes Scatterbrain giant-sized with a grow bomb, he fights with the Thunderzords and is shortly thereafter defeated with the Thunder Megazord's Thunder Saber. After the monster's destruction, Bulk and Skull attempted to impress the high school students at the Juice Bar by saying they saved the Power Rangers by attacking the monster and, having forgotten what the monster looked like, that they pulled out one of the monster's teeth. Scatterbrain fires a ray, which like a kaleidoscope, breaks its victims into millions of pieces and then reassembles them but with out any memory of who they are.
