  • Nanatsuiro Drops(ななついろ★ドロップスNanatsuiro★Doroppusu, lit. Seven-Colored Drops) is a Japanese visual novel developed by UNiSONSHIFT and released on April 21, 2006. The first version, available on the PC, contains adult-only content. A version ported to the PlayStation 2 by MediaWorks was released without this content on September 20, 2007. A version for the Nintendo DS was released on May 15, 2008. In the short time since the video game's release, the series has made several transitions to other media. The first was a light novel written by Tamaki Ichikawa and illustrated by one of the artists who produced the game, Noizi Ito. The novel was published by Enterbrain and went on sale in Japan on June 30, 2006. A manga version, illustrated by Yūki Takami started serialization in September 2006 in the Japanese bishōjo magazine Dengeki G's Magazine, published by MediaWorks. A second manga entitled Nanatsuiro Drops Pure!! is illustrated by Sorahiko Mizusima and was serialized in Dengeki Comic Gao! between April 2007 and February 2008, also published by MediaWorks. An anime produced by Studio Barcelona began airing on July 2, 2007, on Chiba TV.
