| abstract | - During the reign of Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, Jinpachi was one of ten other jōnin to accompany Bunbuku Chagama in battling and retrieving Shukaku for the Hidden Sand. The group succeeded and, upon Bunbuku being crowned as the Sixth Kazekage, was immortalized as hero of the Sand: one of the Ten Ninja Braves of the Hidden Sand.
