| abstract | - Sarah Green was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Green. She was Jewish and in 1938 lived in Nuremberg, Germany. She told her father that she wanted to wear an outfit like Anni Sonnenblume's one day, not knowing it was the outfit of the League of German Girls or what it stood for. During Kristallnacht she and her parents were about to be deported but managed to get away. Anni went looking for them in an attempt to save them.
