Synopsis
  • Having grown bored of being undefeated criminals in their home universe of Earth-Three, a reality where evil is the dominant force over good), the Crime Syndicate of America learn of Earth-One and decide to commit crimes in that reality, hoping to be challenged by the Justice League of Earth-One. Each of the CSA members battles a JLA member . Although the JLA members manage to gain the upper hand against their Earth-Three counterparts, the CSA have a failsafe: by saying the magic word "Volthoom", they transport themselves and their opponent to Earth-Three where the Earth-One counterparts are immobilized and made prisoner. Having claimed supremacy over the Justice League, the Crime Syndicate decides to prove their ability to prove themselves superior to others and decide to target the Justice Society of America of Earth-Two, hoping to clear the playing field for a final battle between the JLA and CSA. However, the JSA having detected Ultraman's viewing their reality contact the JLA and learn that the CSA is coming to battle them, and warn their Earth-Two counterparts of their secret weapon: The magic word Volthoom.
