| abstract | - Where does one start? Wiking has been wandering the Sage Ocean now for almost 3 years. Having once captained Southern Cross Marauders and achieved very high crew fame and respect, he said goodbye to the game and retired indefinitely to pursue his real life commitments. Then late in 2007 he was drawn back to Sage to find that his old crew had reformed to become PHOENIX. Content to remain Senior Officer, Wiking specialized initially in conducting elite pillages and was happy to raise the profile of Phoenix and increase elitism within the crew. In an effort to explore other elite crews, Wiking took a vacation from Phoenix and joined Omega with Flail. Flail was another who subsribed to elitism and they pillaged together many times. It was at Omega that Wiking met Pippynoshoes. Together Pip and Wik quickly developed a bond that was forged through respect and friendship. They pillaged every night together and enjoyed many great times as crewbies. In time though Wiking returned to Phoenix and decided to form his own elite crew. Having discussed his plans with fellow Senior Officer and Drinking Buddy Slashinleroy, Wiking formed Silent But Deadly, with a goal of having a maximum of 40 Elite crewmembers. In a brave move Pippynoshoes left Omega and became an integral part of the core management of SBD. Only hiring Pirates meeting strict standards, SBD took their small crew to a top 10 Illustrious Fame Standing within 3 weeks with just 18 in the crew. Proof that quality surpassed quantity. Wiking attributes all success to his crewmembers and his one true partner Pip. Without her he would not find the strength to succeed. He has met some incredible Pirates in his journey and would like to thank Lioutsia, Yadyad, Goulik, Rustyrhinos, Finazzie, Scrubbs, Oldtimers, Omaris, Shalimara, Adnerb, Jhazzi, Taakoka, Lepicarde, Kingdaz, and many others for all the support and friendship over the time. But Mostly, Slash and Pip you guys rock!
