  • After the original Fox Cannon was canceled, a number of the prototypes were requisitioned by Misriah Armories for further development. Initially serving as testbeds for experimental technology, they were used to develop new technologies for the UNSC. The results of these, such as improved target acquisition and designation systems, which were later incorporated into other vehicles, but it lead to the development of the M150 which has a number of technical innovations and upgrade, one such improvement is the addition of GPS targeting. When Misriah showed it to the UNSC, they were impressed enough to fund further development and orders as a new Self-propelled Artillery piece to supplement the Scorpion.
