| abstract | - -Brang Forgefire Feryn Kordyne was the father of Adarin Kordyne, grandfather of Buckler and Clerun Kordyne, and the great-grandfather of Calla and Urfa. He was the Blademaster of the Long Patrol, and was known for not wanting to wear a Long Patrol uniform, not speaking as most hares do, and for generally disliking regimental life during peaceful times. Feryn was the best friend and right paw of Badger Lord Brang Forgefire, and saved Brang's life during a battle with Armuk Rinn the Conqueror and the Ravagers. In return for his efforts, Brang awarded Feryn the Blademaster's Medal. Feryn passed his broadsword and the medal on to his first-born son, Adarin, starting a family tradition.
