| abstract | - The Staff of Anubis is a Staff found in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. It is occasionally dropped by a Red Demon in the Gabomba Statue. The Staff of Anubis can be bought for 5500 coins and sold for 4125 coins. As a Staff, it can be equipped by Jenna, Ivan, Sheba, and Mia. It increases the wielder's attack by 83. The Staff of Anubis' Unleash attack is Sarcophagus. Sarcophagus converts all damage to Venus damage and attacks with an additional 30 damage points. Also, there is a chance that it will cause the target to be haunted. It visually resembles a large Egyptian sarcophagus with a skeleton on it land down onto the target and disappear in a flash of green skull-shapes. Like many artifacts, the Staff of Anubis is among the best weapons available for when it can be obtained, although it is unlikely to be received without manipulating the RNG. Those lucky enough to acquire it may find it useful even after stronger weapons becomes available, mostly due to Sarcophagus' ability to haunt foes. However, the odds of the haunting occurring are slim without Unleash-boosting equipment, so some players may wish to trade it in for more reliable equipment. In terms of both class and Unleash, the Staff of Anubis can be considered a weaker, non-cursed alternative to the Demonic Staff.
