  • Kaito was walking through the Seireitei, out and about for the first time in a few centuries. People who saw him were surprised, and greeted him cautiously. "Good morning, Captain Kaito, Lieutenant Sarugaki." Was the custom greeting when Kaito was with his Lieutenant, Hiyori Sarugaki. "Who is she to summon us anyway?" Hiyori was grumbling. She didn't appreciate being dragged out to the Head Captain's office. "It's an official summons, it can't be helped." Kaito replied, resigning to her bad attitude. "No Captain is to appear on official business without their Lieutenant." Hiyori muttered something unitelligible. "Besides, I had to pull alot of strings for them to allow a Mod Soul to be my Lieutenant." Kaito reminded her. "Wouldn't it be a waste if you never appeared in an official capacity?" "Yes..." Hiyori agreed to this, only because she couldn't argue her way out of it. "Excellent." They reached the First Division Barracks and opened the doors. "Captain and Lieutenant of Twelfth Company, reporting from summons." He announced himself. Haruko Kiseki, Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13 sat at her office desk, with her feet situated upon the table, resting in a rather unorthadox manner. All while she was chowing down upon a taco while wearing a sombrero. How stereotypical. "Sí, ¿qué es? er, I mean, yeah, what do you want?" She questioned, suspciously. Today wasn't a good day for her...Then again, neither were the rest of her days. This didn't look too good...Ayup, not too good at all. Kaito looked at her for a second. "Um...Head-Captain, might I suggest you try for a more professional appearance? How you are acting right now might cause others to...er...doubt your leadership skills." "Damn straight." Hiyori muttered. Haruko's left eye opened widen than usual, as she muttered, "Aye, aye, aye..." Her appearances were decieving; while she appeared almost lackdastical, she was thoroughly competent...when it was neccessary for the plot. "...Alright, let's cut to the queso. What exactly, is going on?" "You summoned us here baldy!" Hiyori snapped before Kaito could speak. "You're the Head-Captain, and you can't even keep tra-!" Kaito put a hand over her mouth. "As my Lieutenant was kind enough to remind you, you summoned us here." Kaito said slowly. "What for?" "...As the tone of narrative indicates, you're smarter than me. And less Mexicanish. So, I do believe that you know something I don't. So fess up." Haruko responded in a rather Mexican tone. "Well, while I'm sure what I know that you don't could fill several Olympic swimming pools, it was you who summoned us." Kaito replied, shrugging. "Rack your brains please, the reason is in there somewhere." Haruko smirked, as all it all flowed back into her mind. She placed her fingers on her lips, retorting "...Ha! I remember now! ...The Captain of the Eighth Division relayed to me something very important. In Hana City, a beast of some kind has gone on a rampage. If it's left alone like that, it could pose a serious threat to Soul Society." She took a bite out of her taco. "Now, do you get it. The president has been kidnapped by ninjas! Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president- er, I mean, send those two you hired before since I'm busy." "Why can't you just send someone to gi-!" Hiyori made another outburst, but Kaito put his hand over her mouth again, chuckling weakly in the Head-Captain's direction. "Once again, forgive my Lieutenant's rudeness." Kaito said, looking at Hiyori with exasperation on his face. "We'll see to the extermination of this creature immediately." He bowed his way out, and they made their way back to the Twelfth Company barracks, admist Hiyori's bickering. "Rika!" Kaito called out, and Rika appeared as if shocked with red hot wire. "Yes, Master?" "Seems we have some work to do. A beast is terrorizing Hana City, in the far east. I'd like you to go altert Fumiko and Kachihi. I want them to handle it." He placed two small devices on Rika's hand. "Place one on each of them, and stick with them for awhile. Their reiatsu could be benficial to my research. Kachihi, being a unique hybrid, could have reiatsu beneficial to improving you." "Yes Master." Rika bowed his way out. Now this is a familiar scene. The bedroom, the loveable sleeping heroes, and sunlight once again peeking through the window, hitting them with the warmth. Kind of repititve ain't it? Well, don't whine to me, I'm just the Narrator. Fumiko and Kachihi lay under the blankets, Fumiko wedged close to Kachihi's front, both stark naked, and still sound asleep, though that wouldn't last long. "...Dammit." Kachihi growled, visibly irked by the events of the day before. It all seemed so nonsensical. He wasn't that strong, probably. Either that or the burning haired man was talking out of his ass. It seemed like it all happened in a blur, and it would be in his best interests to forget that those events never happened, wiping them clean from his mind. He slowly stood up, scratching his head in confusion. Kachihi Amagase was confused often for some reason. Fumiko sat up slowly, yawning, but stifling it in the manner of a proper lady, despite being male, possibly playing up to the dutiful wife role. "Good morning." He said to Kachihi, smiling. He tried to move, and almost winced. "Tch...I guess you were too rough last night Kachihi..." He chuckled for a moment. "I'll chalk it up to you not being all there." Kachihi's eyes widened and his irises shrunk drastically. "God-dammit, not again..." He applied his palm to his forehead in exasperation, beginning to grumble. Not only was he grumbling, as usual, his stomach was grumbling. "Today wasn't going to be a good day", he thought, though he thought that every other day. "You're going to start hurting my feelings Kachihi..." Fumiko muttered, averting Kachihi's eyes now and looking genuinely offended. "Do you...dislike having sex with me?" Kachihi quickly turned around, muttering "No, no...It's just..." He sighed. "Yeah, no. You do forget that I complain about everything, do you?" "I know, but, I'd rather you didn't complain about this..." Fumiko murmured. "I love it when our bodies match during the night, it stings a bit no matter how you explain it away..." Seems even the feisty Fumiko could become shy sometimes. "Uh, yeah..." Kachihi grimaced. Ironic how he carried around that cellphone, yet he was hampered by his inability to communicate to anyone he trusted as more than a occasional acquaitence. Quick to defrost the awkwardness of the situation, he slowly began to walk downstairs. Where he was saw Rika sitting at the table, sitting with Yuuki and talking. Surprising as it seemed for Yuuki to be speaking with someone that he didn't know, it was probably because Rika had the effect on Yuuki that he did on Kachihi. He reminded him of Gai. Yuuki, despite all attempts to pry himself from that person and anyone remotely similar, couldn't help but stare, entranced. It was looking at Chuck Norris fight Mr. T, something so epic you can't help but drop everything and stare. "Uh, and you're here for...?" He asked, with his usual serene voice. "Rika Ichigawa." Rika said with a beautiful smile, though he looked nervous. Perhaps his Gai data was sending him warnings about Yuuki. "I'm Gai Nagareboshi's younger brother. I'm sure you know him, so it's best to introduce myself as such." "And you're here for...?" Yuuki questioned, befuzzled. Of course, the fact that Rika was supposedly his former love's younger brother confuddled him greatly. His eyes opened and irises shrunk, as he responded in confusion, "Wait...Wait. You're...you're...!" "I'm what?" Rika asked, genuinely confused. "How the hell does that work? That jerk is his only brother." Yuuki looked almost pained, as he continued, "So, you're an imposter." He raised to his feet, grumbling, "...Wait, probably not. Why are you here, anyway?" "I'm not an imposter..." Rika sounded offended. "Gai really is my Onī-chan...but I'm more of a clone...A-anyway, I'm here looking for Fumiko and Kachihi!" Kachihi trudged downstairs, grimacing at the sight of the raven-haired boy before him. He raised his left eyebrow in suspicion, as he growled in a hostile manner, "...Tch. It's you. What do you want?" Amusingly, despite attempting to keep his persona away from his ...mother... as far as possible, Kachihi Amagase was beginning to become more and more like him. Yuuki batted his eyelashes, inquiring sternly, "...Kachihi. Don't be rude to our guest, please." Despite the sweet tone, he sounded absolutely irked and genuinely enraged. Ironic that he was rude to Rika a moment before. Rika giggled. "Such a parental figure, Yuuki-san. A-anyway, I'm here with a message from my master." He walked Kachihi, placing a hand on his head for a moment, placing the device Kaito had given him onto Kachihi's head without him knowing, and walking away with a simple "You smell like vanilla." remark that was so out of context, a shrewd person would have suspected something. "Master got a report of a beast damaging Hana City, and he wants you and Fumiko to deal with it." Kachihi continued to scowl, wondering why he of all people was essentially an attack dog. "Why us? Can't you send some other guys?" He applied his palm to his forehead in exasperation. "...Alright, let's go, then." "We need Fumiko down too." Rika told him, and, as if on cue, Fumiko came downstairs, yawning again and rubbing his eyes. "Someone raaaang?" The yawn carried out the word as he tried to stifle it again. A low, rasping sound rang from Kachihi's mouth as he crossed his arms in annoyance. "...Still can't see why that guy can't send anyone else. It's like we're the only ones who can do it. I don't get it. Why can't you just leave me alone?" Yuuki thought to himself, "...Kachihi reminds me so much of his father." "He wants you two to do it." Rikia explained, offering Fumiko what looked like a hug. He accepted and Rika planted the device onto him as well. Master also told me to stay with you all for awhile, help you out." Kachihi scowled, as he walked towards Rika, sensing that something was wrong. As if he had planted something on him, the Mototsu/Seishin/Nightwalker hybrid circled Rika, glaring at the young boy. "What did you do, exactly?" Despite looking not too bright, Kachihi Amagase was brighter than he seemed. Supposedly. However, such suspicion bowled over, as he sighed, continuing, "Ah, well. I guess it's nothing too bad." "I didn't do anything at all." Rika lied smoothly. "Whenever you are ready, we can go. It'll take awhile anyway." "Go where?" Fumiko asked, still sleepy. Being ever helpful, Rika went ahead and explained to Fumiko what he'd explained to Yuuki and Kachihi. "Ooooh." Fumiko's eyes lit up. "This should be fun." Kachihi still wasn't sure about this. Though, of course, he would go along with it as Fumiko was and he didn't have much choice. "...Tch. Let's go, then." "Yuuki-san, we'll be gone for a few days." Rika said, bowing slightly. "Since I am taking your children with me, shall I leave you with company in the meantime? I wouldn't want to leave someone completely alone..." Yuuki clasped his hands, nodding in agreement. "...Yes, I'll be perfectly fine." While Kachihi and Fumiko were away, Yuuki had matters to tend to. "Now, you two don't cause too much trouble." Rika drew a piece of paper from his sleeve and scribbled his name onto it. "I'd rather not leave you alone Yuuki-san..." He said in his soft, nervous tone. He channeled spiritual energy into the paper, forming a complete replica of him. "This is my Shikigami. I" "Hiiiiii! I'm Rika!" "It's also different from me in personality. But it's completely independent from me and follows any orders so..." Rika trailed off. "I'm also kinda stupid." Fake Rika giggled. Yuuki couldn't help but laugh. Perhaps this shikigami was reflective of Rika's true self. "Ah, I see..." He thought with such a nusiance around, he wouldn't be able to get anything done. "Well, try not to cause too much racket, okay?" "I'll tr-whoah!" Fake Rika was backing up and stumbled over the table, landing across the other side crashing into the chairs and then hitting the floor hard. "I-I'm okay..." His feminine voice was racked with pain. Yuuki sighed, giggling at Fake Rika's clumsiness. "Well, you two do what you need to do, okay?" Kachihi applied his palm to his forehead in exasparation. "...This is gonna suck." Fumiko wrapped his arms around Kachihi's neck, nibbling his ear. "C'mon, let's just enjoy it."
