  • This technique allows the user to place an opponent within a genjutsu world created by the user. This world is at first considered beautiful, but it quickly shows its true colors by the user being pinned to a tree with large nails. The victim is then subjected to various amounts of torture by an illusion of the caster. This technique also causes traumatizing memories of the victim to surface, causing severe mental strain. The caster of Ashoka is also able to view these memories.

Victims of this technique have been shown to have a great amount of fear of it being cast on them again. Due to the strength of this technique, breaking free is incredibly difficult and often requires a third party to assist in breaking the genjutsu. There are two ways to perform this technique though neither have been stated to been easy. One is to weave hand seals and then physically touch the intended victim, while the second way is for an Uchiha to cast it with their Sharingan, and requires direct eye contact at close range. The later has been stated to be more difficult than the former. However learning this technique is considered a very difficult feat to accomplish.

He was a vegetarian and erected many edicts praising the Buddha's teachings which also gave further archeological proof of the Buddha's life and other historical information found in the Buddhist discourses (canon or scriptures). He was the third emperor of the Mauryan Dynasty and ruled India from 269 to 232 BCE. Shocked by the destruction he had caused by his war with Kàliïga Ashoka converted to Buddhism and spent the remainder of his reign trying to govern his vast realm by spiritual principles. He renounced an aggressive foreign policy, promoted religious harmony, established hospitals, made the judicial system less harsh and sent Buddhist missionaries throughout India and abroad. It was primarily because of Ashoka’s patronage that Buddhism became an India-wide religion as quickly as it did. To make known his various reforms, Ashoka issued a series of edicts and had them inscribed on rocks and huge stone pillars which were set up all over India. These edicts are the earliest decipherable written records from ancient India.
