At one point in his life, Oakheart fell on his head and believed that he was an owl. His wife knocked him off of the roof of their raft and he fell on his head again and became normal. He later used this technique on Diggs, who had suffered a head injury and believed himself to be a Salamandastron colonel. Oakheart was also a brewer, and made Witherspyk Waterporter.
