Though not named within the dialogue, the guardsman's uniform is that of the Grenadier Guards. They are one of five regiments who make up the Queen's Guard. Famed for their tall hats, the guardsmen are most closely associated with Buckingham Palace. In an episode of Fraggle Rock, Uncle Traveling Matt encountered a real-life Grenadier Guardsman, whose hat he assumed was actually a pet.
