| abstract | - Take A Ride On Me is a 2012 Horror film sequel to the 2011 horror film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. It like it's previous film is presented by Guillermo Del Toro though this time with another first time director starting out as Del Toro's Protegee much like Troy Nixey the director of Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, the film however does not deal with the Toothbreaker fairies whom were the terrifying antagonists of the previous film and rather deals with the two frightening fairies: The Puca and the Kelpie. The film is directed by Del Toro's Hellboy 2 Production designer Stephen Scott. The film stars Alison Lohman (whom's role in the film was taken in greatly because of Guillermo's loving of her performance in Sam Raimi's Drag Me to Hell), Angela Harmon (whose role was taken aboard seeing as Guillermo stated she looks like a older Katie Holmes of the first film and that she was a spectacular actress in The Deal), Justin Theroux, Little Elle Fanning of Super 8 and Phoebe in Wonderland whom is the famous young sister of actress Dakota Fanning, Little Boy actor Asa Buttefield whom was put immediatley on as Guillermo loved his performance in the Boy in Striped Pyjamas, the rest of the cast is headed up by Alex Dimitriades, Sofia Vassilieva, Ian McShane, Kostas Sommer, Lillian Birdsell, Dakotoa Goyo, Gabrielle Dennis and Collins Pennie.
