| abstract | - The Picklemen are an anti-supernatural group of conservative aristocrats. They can be identified by a green ribbon tied around a hat. The organization forms a plan to provide free enhancements to mechanicals all over England, secretly installing new crystalline valve frequensors that can be used to control the mechanicals from afar. They hope to cause enough confusion with this plan to invade London with an army of mechanimals and seize control of the country. This plan is thwarted by Sophronia and the students and staff of Mademoiselle Geraldine's. During Manners & Mutiny, the Picklemen bring down Mademoiselle Geraldine's during a New Years tea party. They commandeer the dirigible when it is abandoned by teachers and students, intent on floating to London to utilize the ship's pilot mechanical in their plot to overthrow the government.
