  • Ten years ago, disaster struck. Phineas walked to the window, and looked out of it gloomily. Not becausof the fact that summer had ended, and classes begun. A much worse reality pushed itself ito his conscious mind. The streets of suburban Danville were covered by shadows. They were cold, lonely and deserted. And not a year has passed since ten years ago, that the ground was dry on this date. If there was anyone who hadn't lost someone on this day, yet is more empathetic than someone who has, it was Phineas. And he stood there at the window, watching the rain tackle every square inch of surface avaliable. Rain was usually associated with feeling of loss, regret, and sadness. Yet all Phineas could feel was sympathy, as he wasn't in the position of those who do feel the misery. Anthony was one of these people. While he hadn't lost someone, his uncle that he dearly loved became crippled on this date. Anthony hung up the phone, finishing a conversation with the aforementioned uncle, and threw himself on his bed. A bolt of lightning struck in a place unknown at uncanny speed, as sudden as the two commercial airliners crashed into the World Trade Center a year ago. The smash of thunder followed, reminding him that nothing could have been done, as he was very young, and in Boston at the time of incident. ---
