| abstract | - The Matenjiro (魔天城, Demon-Heaven Tower) is a unique technique developed by Shuji as the unique "offspring" of Tenzu, a wielder of the Yin-Yang Release and Pure Chakra, respectively. This particular technique is truthfully one of his only techniques that could be classified as offensive, and thus he is forced to use it quite often whenever confronted with such a situation. It is a derivative of the malleable chakra of the Shinju wielded by Obito Uchiha in the Fourth Shinobi World War, albeit more versatile in numerous manners to make up for a significant loss in power. Utilizing his own Yin-Yang Release chakra, he utilizes the same process as the Creation of All Things; in this regard, Shuji forms a weapon or construct of his own creation with Yin Release chakra, before immediately providing it life through the use of the Yang Release. However, unlike normal Yin-Yang Release techniques, Matenjiro doesn't actually negate the chakra that it comes in contact with; rather, it appears to absorb it in order to provide sustenance for itself. This is done so because of Shuji's own origins, reflecting his incapability of sustaining his being without the assistance of Tenzu and his unique Fūinjutsu. Through such an absorption, Matenjiro subsequently takes upon the properties of whatever it faces. In that regard, it is the perfect imitation technique, as well as the embodiment of neutrality. This is mainly because of the fact that, while it's purpose could be offensive, the neutralization of both attacks at the exact same level of power (once again adjusted passively) creates an explosion on the magnitude of both techniques used. Essentially, at this point, the battle becomes one of attrition and persistence, both of which are extremely difficult to surpass Shuji in. The variety of forms Matenjiro holds is only limited to his imagination; however, the name itself was formed from the fact that the first use of this technique came from constructing a large castle-like construct in order to provide an "official" meeting grounds for the Junten. Ever since then, it has stuck under this name.
