Typically when someone has Last Words, it is just before they are killed by someone else...either Murder by a Serial Killer/Murderer or by execution. On certain occasions Suicide can lead to last words, mostly in the form of a note. In the television series DEXTER, many of Dexter Morgan's victims are given the opportunity to speak before he kills them in his Kill Room.
