  • Sleeping in a large were two girls, one Arrancar, one Quincy. The Arrancar was a smaller girl, being hugged into the moderately size breasts of the Quincy child. These girls with Lynterria Hatake and Miyuki Kazamatsuri, fully rested after the brutal beating they had received in battle. Despite insisting they sleep in separate beds, Lynterria crawled into Miyuki's bed, and proceeded to hug her into her chest before sleeping. Miyuki couldn't shake the feeling that yesterday, she had failed in protecting someone she swore to defend at all costs. Of course, now wasn't the time for angsting about it; she was still fast asleep, experiencing nightmares about the time that devil woman taunted her to the point that she burst into tears. Lynterria was the first to wake up, yawning. She noticed her arms were wrapped around Miyuki. She giggled, and then pressed Miyuki's face further into her breasts to the point where she'd have to awaken for die. "G-Gah...!" The pressure of Lynterria's chesticles against her head gave Miyuki Kazamatsuri a rude awakening. Quickly, she leapt up in surprise. It was only now that she regained her breathing functions. "Haa...ha...Dammit!" She was at an utter loss for words. "Good morning sweetie." Lynterria said, smiling happily. Her mother had told her to say that to Miyuki upon waking up. The sentiment was possibly drowned out from having almost suffocated the girl however. "...U-Uh..." Miyuki was at an utter loss for words. She wasn't sure how to respond, or what to say. "...Good...morning?" Smooth move, you idiot Miyuki. Lynterria's expression changed from one of casual eagerness to loving car as she looked at Miyuki. "Um...how your wounds? Any better." Miyuki sighed. "Y-Yeah...Thanks for that." She was still feeling guilty for what had occured. There was only one solution: Become strong enough to shatter that bastard in an instant. Lynterria wrapped her arms around Miyuki, drawing her into a genuine hug, no marshmallow hell this time. "Miyuki...I'm not really sure, but I know seeing you happy makes me happy. When you're hurt, it hurts me...so, let's just protect each other from now on! Momma said you looked so distraught when you came in yesterday. I'd collapsed before we got back to the house and she said you were guilty or something. But I'm fine now, we both are. This time around, we'll find him and win!" "Uhh..." She wasn't sure what to say. She was flattered truly but they'd only known each other for god-knows-how-long, probably a few days. Hell, who was keeping track of the time? "...Thank you, Lynterria. For standing by my side." Heck; she was embarrassed as hell to say something cheesy like that. "Mhm!" She nodded enthusiastically, breaking the hug. "I'm not sure what I feel, but, I feel good. And good can't be bad, so I'm going to go with this feeling." Miyuki fell into absolute silence, overwhelmed by such a feeling. "...Y-Yeah. Me too." It could be said that Miyuki Kazamatsuri was deprived of these feelings as a child. The door opened and Ms. Hatake walked in, carrying three cups of tea for each of them. "Ahhh, excellent, I thought I heard noise. How are you two feeling?" "Peachy!" Miyuki applied her palm to her forehead in exasperation, though she couldn't help but smile. "...Eh, alright." Her forehead still pulsed ominously, though she was able to ignore it enough. Perhaps, her memories were beginning to resurface? Nah. Probably not. Repeating again, "Thank you." to Lynterria, Miyuki felt rather at home with these two. It seemed that they were all she needed. Ms. Hatake sat down, letting them each take a cup of tea, as she took a cup of her own. "Tell me, can you remember anything yet?" Miyuki scratched her head in confusion. "...Kinda. I can remember small fragments, or something. That green haired bastard wants to deprive the world of their abilities; for the sole reason that he had no powers of his own. ...Selfish, really." "Now that's bad!" Lynterria sounded angry. "No hogging people's powers, sharing is caring!" Ms. Hatake chuckled, and pulled Miyuki out of earshot from Lynterria, motioning to her daughter to stay and drink. "This question is a bit personal, but not one Lynterria would understand." She smiled, a strange smile to see on the face that so resembled Lynterria's. Unlike Lynterria's innocent smile, this was a knowing smile. "What do you currently think of my daughter? I can see likes having you around, but I simply want to make sure the feeling is mututal." She smiled a full-toothed smile. "No need to delve deeper than that unless you want to." Miyuki inched back. She really couldn't say for sure. "I can say, that I've grown rather fond of her." She crossed her arms. "And that's all I'm saying, got it?" "That's good enough for me." Ms. Hatake smiled. "I wish I could find a nice girl for me like Lynterria has found for her." "Well, keep searching." Miyuki stuttered, "Eventually it'll all work out." Or something. Ms. Hatake pinched Miyuki's cheeks and smiled. "So sweet. My daughter definitely lucked out. Anyway, better get back in there, I'm sure she's waiting on you." She walked downstairs, whistling. "Sure." Miyuki responded, before walking back to Lynterria. Lynterria was lying on the bed, waving her arms and legs as if trying to make a snow angel, whistling a tune, the tune of her choice effectively showing the amount of information in her head, none. Her leg movements gave Miyuki a clear view up her skirt, then hid it, then revealed it again, a fact that Lynterria was blissfully unaware of. Miyuki inched back slightly, covering her face with her hands in order to ensure that she wouldn't be distracted by the sexiness. "W-What..." Lynterria sat up, her legs wide and still whistling. She ceased the whistling, and looked over at Miyuki. "What, what?" Miyuki snapped, "S-Stop that..." Her tone was one full of exasperation and fluster. "Sit up, you idiot." "Stop what?" She asked, tilting her head curiously. "I haven't done anything bad...and I am sitting up..." "Then close your goddamn legs. It's...what's the word, distracting. Yes, that's it. 'Cides, something bad may happen." She growled. "But it's just us here." Lynterria asked, crossing her legs as asked. "Nothing bad can happen with Miyuki with me." She seemed to be conveniently forgetting the assbeating they had both receieved not a day ago. Miyuki's skin melted, as she revealed her true form as a large brown bear with black, beady eyes and a dissonant smile. "Or so you think. Welcome to hell. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Without hesitation, this being leapt at Lynterria... "Huh?" Miyuki clutched her head. "What the hell was that?" Lynterria looked puzzled, tilting her head again. "Are you ok?" She placed her hand lovingly on Miyuki's face, though the gesture was platonic in and of itself. Miyuki inched back. "D-Don't touch me, got that?" She snapped, though her tone was lighter than before. "Uwaaaaaah...." She whined, her eyes glistening with tears at being reprimanded, however lightly. Crossing her arms, Miyuki sighed, "...Tch. Not your fault." Approaching the window, Miyuki continued, "...Alright. Now, to get to work on kickin' that guy's arse." "Should we go and look for him?" Lynterria suggested. "I bet he's by the tree!! We can go and beat the tree up, and then maybe he'll show up!" Miyuki sighed. "...That...doesn't sound like a bad idea." "Then let's go!" Lynterria grapped Miyuki, and ran straight through the window glass, not even bothering to landing on the ground, running straight on the air, dragging Miyuki along. "How the hell do you run in the goddamn air!?" Miyuki stuttered; she'd never experienced something like this before. Lynterria looked down. "Ooooh, we're so high up. I dunno. Muffin button?" She literally had no idea what she was doing. Miyuki applied her palm to her forehead in exasperation. "...Dammit, give me an answer which makes sense." She wasn't amused. At all. "Why do you want to 'make cents'?" Lynterria sounded confused. "Isn't making your own money illegal?" She was thinking in terms of western money. Miyuki face-palmed once again. "Y'know what? Forget it. You do know where you're going, right?" Asking this; she realized that Lynterria had no idea. Of course. "To the big big tree!" She pointed at the rather obvious looming tree in the dead center of the forest. "Even an idiot couldn't miss it." Zing. "...Tch. Then hurry up, then." Miyuki snarled. Miyuki Kazamatsuri wasn't someone you could use "patient" as a describing word with. She began to run at a downward angle and they landed right next to the tree. "And here we are!" She said cheerfully, letting Miyuki down. A groan could be heard, and they looked up, seeing Issen sitting in the tree branches. "So you're still alive." He picked a fruit. "Ever heard the saying, 'An apple a day, keeps the doctor away'?"
