| abstract | - Conventional factories will someday be replaced by nanofactories which will be the size of desktop computers in the year 2009. Instead of human workers, nanobots will inhabit the factories and make goods affordable for the working class population in infinite amounts (thanks to the post-scarcity era that nanotechnology will help create). Prices for staple items will decrease to almost nothing thanks to nanofactories and their constant flow of manufactured goods. Automation and the elimination of traditionally masculine jobs will pave the way for the era of the nanofactory. A world that employs more females than males would accept nanofactories more in their daily lives. People would rather see robots manufacture our goods instead of slave laborers from China or Bangladesh. While 3D printing became mainstream in 2016, it was merely an intermediate step towards the rise of the nanofactories and the fall of manual labor. Photographers would find 3D printing to be useless. By 2034, photography is done entirely by robots and camera will no longer be designed for human hands to use.
