  • The J-10 in Battlefield 2 is the main fighter aircraft of the PLA and is one of the three fixed-wing aircraft operated by the PLA (J-10, Su-30 and the Q5 Fantan). Its counterparts are the USMC F/A-18 Hornet and the F-35B Lighting II, the MEC MiG-29 Fulcrum and the EU Eurofighter Typhoon. Before patch 1.50, the J-10 used to be considered the best fighter jet in the game, as it is smaller compared to other fighters and used to be more agile as well.

After patch 1.50 balanced out the jets to give the F-35B the ability to be competitive, the J-10 has slightly worse handling capabilities than the F-35B. Like all fighters, its armament composes of six heat-seeking air-to-air missiles, two unguided bombs, and a 23mm twin-barreled automatic cannon. The J-10 has a disadvantage compared to USMC fighters (F-35B, F/A-18), as its cannon only has 300 rounds while the USMC fighters have 600.
