Cindy Tran was also the only freshman at the meet to win an individual title this year at the NCAA Championships. With a time of 51.30, Cindy swam to victory in the 100-yard backstroke. Also, Cindy was a part of the winning 400-yard medley relay team of Cindy Tran, Caitlin Leverenz, Amanda Sims and Liv Jensen swimming the race in 3:28.53.
