  • The pets avaiable in Silkroad are animals that are able to help you to fight if you summon them. They are scrolls that, once used, make appear the pet. These pets have to grow from level 1 (if you buy them in shops or by silks) or can be bought at more level if you buy them from other players. There are some kinds of pets:
  • To pet means fondling, stroking or caressing gently of one's partner prior to the intercourse.
  • The pet system (not to be confused with Cosmetic Pets) allows Runes of Magic characters to capture and raise companions which may be used to provide combat assistance, to increase the players attributes, or to harvest crafting materials for the player.
  • Pets are categorized into what they do, and their series. * Collecting/Generating money * Fighing aliens * Feeding fish * Other And... 1. * Collected in tank one 2. * Collected in tank two 3. * Tank three 4. * Tank four 5. * and bought
  • Pets are summoned NPCs that aid the player in battle until killed or unsummoned. Pets can take the forms of robots, floating sentry turrets, orbs or elemental golems. Powersets that include pet summons are Nature, Earth, Gadgets, Ice, Iconic, Mental and Sorcery. Other pets can be summoned through the use of trinkets or consumables.
  • Pets can also be taken outside and put inside their homes. The Pebbles Family cannot be taken outside, and only Premium Members can put their pets inside their homes. Once pets are in the user's home, the user can feed them.
  • You can obtain pets VIA the CashShop/Premium Store in game using Spark Cash. Pets have multiple use's, they attack, pick up items and can even heal you using pots you allow them to hold.
  • Women like cats. Men say they like cats. But when women aren't looking, men kick cats and replace them with baby lions. It is then acceptable to train the lions to attack on command, but be docile otherwise. A pet cat is only permissible when said cat is vicious, ill-tempered, and/or mangy. Kittens are never manly pets.
  • Pets are items that circle you around as a design. They require Lab Passes in order for you to buy them. * Inflamed Cranium - 0 Credits+Lab Pass * Mister Fischer - 0 Credits+Lab Pass * AATV (Model 1138) - 1 Credits+Lab Pass * The Helvian - 2 Credits+Lab Pass * The Devilian - 4 Credits+Lab Pass * The King - 6 Credits+Lab Pass
  • COCK!
  • You can own many cute pets in Hello Kitty Online. Pets will raise the stats of your character significantly. Only one pet can be active at a time though. This one animal will follow you around visibly for you as well as for other players. Only up to 3 pets (depending on your general character-level) can be "carried" in your pet-window to be activated whenever you like. But even when not active, they will get hungry when you carry them around...
  • Get one, it saves your life.
  • Pets feierte seine Premiere während des Annecy International Animated Film Festivals am 16. Juni 2016 und kam am 8. Juli 2016 in den USA in die Kinos. In Deutschland startet Pets am 28. Juli 2016.
  • All Characters start off with a friendly little pet depending on their choice of race and a lot more can be captured throughout the Ether Saga World. Just as complicated as some popular hit franchises raising your pet and "breeding" them to obtain better stats and skills, Pets' serve as your other party member who can accomplish a variety of tasks with you and can often times be a life saver.
  • This will be the basic information page about Pets
  • Will add info later, this is a placeholder.
  • Pets are tiny characters that follow you around in dome city once activated. They cannot be activated outside of dome city. The only thing they do is make funny noises & moves and give the player a mobility boost in dome city causing you to walk faster than normally. In total there are 11 pets in Global Agenda. Most of them can be crafted, some could be bought at the Burning Fashion store and others are earned from achievements or from an event.
  • PETS (Positive Encounter and Tactics System) is the name of the battle system of Breath of Fire:Dragon Quarter. It is a mixture of real time strategy and the combat system of tactical RPGs. One main feature of PETS is that the player can see their enemies on the regular map. He can set up traps which give him an advantage in battle. Additionally, the player can use a field attack which gives the character performing this attack an extra turn in battle. However, the enemy can also get an extra turn, if the player is not cautious enough.
  • Pets are parts of character equipment usable with any character. Depending on the pet, the character acquires various bonuses.
  • This page lists all of the pets (past and present) owned by RT staff who can be seen in videos and around the Rooster Teeth offices. A few of these pets may have appeared in the "Pets of Rooster Teeth" RT Recap
  • This is the series of quests to obtain your own Poppet. More later (like explanations of what a Poppet is...). Note that the quests are repeatable, allowing for more than one Pet, even of the same type.
  • In Powerpets, players can do a variety of things with their pets, such as feeding them, playing with them, increasing their strength or even armouring them so that they can battle and compete in the Powerdome to fulfill quests or a gameplay plot.
  • Some classes may summon pets. Here is some information on these abilities...
  • Pets are helpful animals that you can unlock by hatching eggs (A.K.A completing a level).
  • Pets were fun little creatures that can be bought in Spineworld. They could help dig items for Missions and could be taken care of. Members could buy pets at the Pet Shop for them to keep. Non-members could rent a pet from Ravensilk in Dragon Port for around twenty minutes.
  • There are two types of pets, they are Summonable Pets and Companion Pets. A Summonable Pet is a creature where you give commands for it to perform actions, while Companion Pet is worn as a weapon and Aislings may have only 1 Companion Pet.
  • Currently (as of R29 in March 2016), every creature that you can find in any Creativerse-world can be tamed, including Keepas, Things and Rockzillas. Pets are all solely (very useful) "livestock" for now. Attention: most likely because of a bug currently pets that you set to "wander" might vanish while you're away (logged off or busy elsewhere out of sight), no matter how much you have tended to them, even after they have just eaten or would be ready to be harvested. So always set them to "stay" to keep them for now, until the issue will be fixed.
  • Pets are unlock-able creatures that help your tank in some way or other. Pets are unlocked by buying all the egg pieces in a level. These are the pets listed by level and tank order, then the Bonus unlock-able pets.
  • Pets are companions in Grand Chase, purchasable with either cash, points, through playing Gacha, or by creating it with a Creation Manual. Certain pets are "binded' to a character, meaning that the pet can only be equipped by the specific (binded) character. However, the player usually can choose what character the pet will form a bond with. With the arrival of Season V, all pets are bound to the character, since they cannot be transferred via Warehouse.
  • Pets in MyBrute are given randomly just like skills and weapons whenever you level up. Wolves and Bears are extremely rare, the chance to get one is less than one percent.
  • Pets is the first part of the 9th episode from Season 10 of Barney & Friends.
  • __TOC__ Pets are creatures found in the world which characters are able to use in battle. Players with pets may also have the option of naming each pet, as well as choosing a pet to walk around with them while not in a Party. You will not be able to use your pet in battle if its level is too high (usually 5 levels) above your own.
  • Upon reaching level 20, you can visit Pet Seller Amy in Port of the Winds to accept a special quest chain. Completing these prerequisite quests will grant you access to a daily quest, the reward of which is an unhatched pet egg. This egg requires no incubation and can be hatched immediately to reveal either a Puppy, Kitty, or Birdy pet. The pet you receive is random but the Birdy is much less common than the Kitty which is less common than the Puppy. There are additional daily quests for pet eggs at levels 30 and 40 meaning that if you are level 40 or above, you will be able to collect three pet eggs per day. Pet Seller Edith in Libra offers the same daily quests as her sister Amy but only Amy has the prerequisite quests.
  • Pets can be bought from Eeylops Owl Emporium & Magical Menagerie. Although there are fourteen pets to choose from, only one can be bought (as it says on the shopping list). The following pets are available at the shop:
  • On this page you can find statistical information about and rankings about pets in Oklahoma.
  • Before we knew it, pets were gobbling up scraps of our food, creeping into our shelters, edging into places of warmth and comfort and transmitting their parasites to us. All they had to do was to give the impression that they enjoyed our company.
  • right Ein Pet (dt.
  • Adopting a pet is easy and quick. Just click on your home page, and click adopt a pet. You will then choose your pet's initial look, and then you will be teleported to "Pet Training" and do a mission to learn what to do with a pet.
  • You cannot go into battle without a pet. Pets will attack enemies and draw their fire in combat. After taking enough damage, they will stop fighting and return to the player's side. During this time, they are invincible and bullets will pass through them. After ~30 seconds of rest, they will return to the fight. This means that pets cannot die. All pets deal 3 points of damage and can crit for 5 damage. Their effectiveness can be improved by having the pet/follower buff. Pet health can also be increased permanently by upgrading the Pet Food (up to five times) in the Base.
  • An owner of a pet can place their pet in any of their (the owner's) rooms. If the owner of another room allows it (turning on the 'Allow Pets' room setting), you may place a pet in their room. However, the room owner can choose to "kick" your pets which will place them in your inventory. Pets are only available in guest rooms.
  • Pets are miniature versions of enemy fish loyal to Naija. There are four unique pets, but only one may be active at a time. They are only adopted once their parents have been defeated. Pets tend to be passive, but will retaliate indiscriminately against any attacks. This can sometimes aggravate large swarms of enemies, so toggle pets as needed.
  • Your Avatar can have a variety of companions, called Pets. These Pets show up in the Village and are seen by other players beside your Avatar. They give no advantages and are merely cosmetic. If you are lynched by the town, some pets will cry next to your body. Some pets will also have a unique taunt animation.
  • Many apartment complexes do not allow pets. Please check before you sign the lease.
  • Pets are creatures, droids or model vehicles that follow a player and observe the player's actions without interfering in combat or conversations. Pets are not companion characters because they are passive mobs that do not assist with any action the player may engage in. Pets are listed initially as items that can be traded or sold, but once a pet is activated, an ability is unlocked that will give the player the power to turn the pet on and off at will. One ground and one airborne pet can be activated at one time.
  • Among the many species that roam the World of Ai, there are only a relative handful of animals that can be tamed to become pets. On the site there is a limit of one pet per Ai. Additionally, they are not displayed in the same image as the Ai that they are equipped to but receive their own separate section below that of the Ai. Pets exist primarily as fancy items and to play a part in Ai roleplaying sessions. They do not need to be fed, or otherwise cared for, but neither can they be bred with other pets.
  • Note, that pets in general will lose power during Normal, sometimes becoming very ineffective in Act 3 and 4. However, in Epic and then again in Legendary they receive a massive boost in hitpoints, damage and resistances, making them useful again. Immortal Throne added the ability to set the stance for pets to either passive, normal, or aggressive: Trinkets and staves with Beastcaller's, Spiritcaller's, Summoner's, Invoker's or Ritualist's affixes add particular damage or armor to all pets. As for damage modifiers, however, only melee attacks seem to be affected from this.
  • Pets are a recurring theme in Harvest Moon. In some games you get to choose which pet you have others you just start out with a dog, cat, or both. Horses are considered pets in most games. pets.jpg|Pets in ToT dog.jpg GBC3 pet select.jpg Cats.jpg Choice.jpg In Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, of Seasons%3A Good Friends of Three Villages Hamtaro was accounced as a pet that would be obtainable within the game. Very few details has been announced, but it is known that Kurumi Mamiya, his original voice actor, will be returning for the role.
  • Pets are NPC who spawn and despawn at your command and who follow you around in the game world. Pets are permanent objects that can be used and reused without a cool down timer. They do not appear in your inventory and cannot be sold or traded. You may have duplicates of pets, but only one pet may be in play at a time. Pets are mainly sold in the SC Marketplace, under the Pets category. There are a few pets available from other means though, and there are some pets that were sold for a limited time only.
  • Pets can be adopted in a variety of ways: by purchasing them in The Bazaar, receiving them as gifts after achieving the Max Relationship with the residents of Islands, receiving them as a reward in a TradeFest, purchasing them from the Pet Sanctuary using stickers or purchasing them using real money during special events or sales. Collecting additional stickers from chests, trade boats, and dives allows you to upgrade your pet’s rank.
  • During your adventure in Wonderland, you will have the opportunity to have many different "pets" join you. These pets will fight by your side in battle, gaining experience and leveling up. Each pet has different attributes and skills, so strategically choosing the proper pet for a particular fight or groups can give you an advantage. However, Wonderland is a game with a changing story, and certain pets may leave you under varying circumstances as you progress through the quests.
  • NOTE:: If someone would please help, this section needs to be heavily re-edited/updated. [Lots of old information, as well as misleading information, such as the secret area summon items and dacy's doll summons being called 'pets.' Currently leaving those there until they are moved or if there is another section already made for them.] Contributions would be highly appreciated.
  • Pets are an unlockable feature, available to players from level 3 onwards. At this level, players start earning eggs and hatching potions from random drops when completing To-Dos and Dailies, or checking positive Habits. Pets do not require food, but most pets can be fed so that they grow into mounts. Rare pets cannot be raised into mounts. Pets, like mounts, are purely aesthetic – they do not provide in-game bonuses of any sort. __TOC__

  • Pets are creatures found around LEGO Universe that can be tamed by a player. Pets can be used to dig up gold treasure chests, bones, and activate Pet Bouncers. Pets cannot be tamed until the player talks to Coalessa in Pet Cove, who teaches how to tame pets. Once this is done, a pet can be tamed by interacting with it and completing a building puzzle. Once a pet is successfully tamed, the player can submit a name for it, which is either approved or rejected by the Mythrans. Until the name is approved, the describing text simply identifies the pet as belonging to the player (for example, "BizzareFlyingAmigo's Warthog Pet"). If and when the name is approved, it will appear above the pet for all players to see. If the name is rejected, the chance to rename it will be given next time it is bro

All pets require adequate Petmanship skill in order to be equipped. Pets are equipped in pet slots next to your head on the equipment page, and up to 2 can be equipped at any one time, one in each of two available pet slots. Level 10 Petmanship is required to use the first pet slot, and level 30 to equip a pet in the second pet slot. You can have up to three pets after selecting all required Bliss Bonuses, but only as many as two may accompany you on adventures.

  • Pets was a British adult puppet sitcom created by Andrew Barclay and Brian West and originally broadcast on Channel 4 from 2001 to 2002. It was shown late at night on Channel 4, and developed a cult following of fans who asked for the show to be released on DVD on the official website. This eventually happened, and the series was for a time made available as a free podcast on iTunes. There was recently some controversy as the creators of Pets alleged that the BBC 3 show Mongrels had plagiarised Pets. The situation is similar to a flatshare comedy. The four pets, a red setter dog named Hamish, a bulldog named Trevor, a persian cat named Davina and a featherless parrot named JP, live together in a house. All the events take place within the house, but these events are often supernatural. Relevant tropes: * Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: In the Halloween episode, JP has three masks. Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula and... Tony Blair. * Big Eater: Trevor eats large amounts of food every few minutes, mainly sandwiches. He justifies it with the fact that he has had tapeworms living in his stomach for decades. * Big No: Trevor does one of these when he realises that he had drug-fuelled sex with JP the night before rather than Davina. * Breaking the Fourth Wall: In most episodes, JP monologues to the audience talking about the theme of the episode, and Davina talks directly to the camera about receiving letters from her boyfriend Vince. However, these have both been suggested to be Fourth Wall Psych in other episodes. In Davina's case that her monologues are actually entries from her diary, and in JP's case he is just talking to nobody because he's, well, weird. It's also common for Hamish to give an Aside Glance and an Aside Comment, and generally there is dialogue that is Leaning on the Fourth Wall, usually regarding the show's low budget and strange plots. * Cats Are Magic: Davina claims this. She frequently says she and all other cats possess psychic powers and advanced knowledge of the Black Arts. It's debatable how much of this is true, however, as one time she tries in vain to reverse an ancient Egyptian mummy curse. * Cats Are Snarkers: Davina, very much so. * Cats Are Superior: Davina, again. * Cloudcuckoolander: JP * Cluster F-Bomb: Swearing is the norm on this show, but Hamish manages to get one in after getting cut off from a phone call while he has been waiting on hold for days. * Dogs Are Dumb: Played with. Hamish and Trevor both do plenty of stupid things, but are fairly intelligent. * Female Feline, Male Mutt: The show has a female cat character and two male dog characters. * Flat Earth Atheist: The Pets are aware of all the strange things that go on in their house, but whenever any of them suggests that they might be dealing with something supernatural the others dismiss it as nonsense, even though it usually turns out to be true. * Human Popsicle: Well, Dog Popsicle really. Hamish tries to freeze himself and wake up in the distant future using an ordinary fridge freezer. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't work. * Interspecies Romance: Implied with Trevor and Davina, although mostly it's Trevor sleazily propositioning Davina and her violently rejecting him. JP also has unrequited love for Davina. Not to mention the Pets have frequently ended up sleeping together under the influence of drink and/or drugs. * Kangaroo Court: The entire episode "Presumed Very Guilty". Hamish is accused of murdering Davina, and Trevor acts as a Hanging Judge AND the prosecuter, where he outright makes things up. JP is an incompetent defence, a witness for the prosecution and is on the jury, where he finds Hamish guilty because Trevor bribed him. After Hamish is hung for the crime it is revealed that Davina wasn't dead after all. * Large Ham: Hamish. * Oh Wait, This Is My Grocery List: Subverted in "Hostage" Davina thinks a list of Hamish's demands is going to be this trope. It turns out the list of groceries he gave them really is his list of demands. Played straight in "Reincarnation" when a grocery list is mistaken for Hamish's suicide note. * Only a Flesh Wound: Trevor tries to dismiss Hamish having a bullet lodged in his brain as this. * They Killed Kenny!: The Pets have all died at some point and turn up alive in the next episode. Sometimes, they die and come back in some form in the same episode.

However, pets differ significantly from other items in that they possess their own unique set of markings that vary slightly among species and can be color customized upon purchase from the pet shop. The following species are available from the Ai pet shop: Batez-A small, round fish with spikes similar that of a puffer fish. The Batez is a native creature of Lake Ai and seems to have no natural enemies (or at least it has survived living with the evil fishes and the lactose intolerant crocodiles that also reside in the lake). Beli-This chubby little bird is more known for its cuteness rather than its great long distance speed. It is a reliable flyer and is often used for the quick delivery of messages within a small distance. It has the shape and general appearance of a puffin. Dornin-A deer-like creature that tends to be rather skittish and is extremely quick on its hooves. Both males and females possess a closely spaced pair of thin antlers. Eives-The resident lizards of Terra Ai. As a general rule this species is easy going and tends to be friendly towards all that approach it, though once tamed they are devoted solely to their owner. Kaze-A enigmatic, yet elegant creature. The Kaze possesses a thin build and has the appearance of a fox with long, tufted ears. Moorta-Considered a dangerous animal by some, or simply wild by most, the Moorta is a lynx-like feline that can become a caring and wonderful pet for those willing to take the time to raise it properly. Yessen-A creature that is said to have descended from the ancient unicorn. Tamed and bred over many generations it has become a trustworthy and loyal companion, excelling as both a riding animal, a warrior and as a pet. Its wild cousin can still be found throughout Terra Ai

Kittens are never manly pets.

If the name is rejected, the chance to rename it will be given next time it is brought out.

Pets can be acquired from the Cartel Market, Cartel Bazaar vendors (with enough reputation with a certain organization), server events, the Galactic Trade Network, and world/operation boss loot drops.
  • This will be the basic information page about Pets
  • Pets faithfully fight beside you in battle, assisting with dealing direct damage to the enemy and/or healing you. Uncommon and Rare pets are sold in the Pet Stores found in every town. Although they have armor class ratings, pets cannot be attacked, cannot lose hitpoints, and cannot die, rendering their armor class ratings irrelevant. However, there is a delay in your pet attacking your enemy at the beginning of combat if you are encumbered. Moreover a pet's attacks and healing will be temporarily halted if the pet owner is mesmerized or stunned. A pet's stats can be altered through Enchanting. Also when equipped, the pet's weight is irrelevant, as it is treated as 0 when in a pet slot. *Note on Damage: Some pets' primary function is healing, and this is shown by the mouse-over message Instead of attacking your enemy this pet heals you. If you are full health it will attack but for minimal damage. Such function is indicated by the note "(healing)" in the Damage column. Numbers shown are still damage/healing range, however.

You can have up to four pets following you at one time. Of the pets currently with you, only one can be ridden or participate in battles with you at a time. You may change your pet from "Rest", "Battle" or "Ride" from the group window. Changing your battle pet during a battle will result in the loss of a turn. Additional pets may be stored and retrieved from certain NPCs in towns. Human pets are generally preferred due to their stronger skills and more advanced growth. Near the beginning of the game you will have the opportunity to choose one of four different animal pets (excluding the monkey). These four pets may be used for the game's express system after you have reached level 10.
  • You can always buy a pet by choosing from one of many pets available. They range in price from a few thousand to $1.5m. As of Beta 13, you can also now carry pets around with you. You can do this by selecting a pet from 1 of your houses to carry, or purchase one from a 24/7. Your pet will defend you from attackers, you can petslap people or set up pet fights! There are two types of attacks your pet can preform. One is the pet attack ( /peta) and the pet slap ( /pslap). Pet Attack will attack the closest player near you if you do not enter an id. The pet attack will do sufficient damage to the other player. In order for your pet to have this ability, that pet must be trained with level 1 and 2 coming to a total amount of 75k for the ability. It will take time for your pet to complete level 1 and 2 training processes. Your pet will also attack players who act in a negative matter towards you meaning your pet will attack another player if that player /foff, /rape, /flash, etc. Your pet does not need to be trained for these types of attacks. The second attack is /pslap. Pet slap (in most situations) will deal more damage then /peta depending on that pet's condition. Walk up to a player and type /pslap to attack him. Unlike /peta, you do not need to waste hours waiting for your pet to be trained. You can /pslap anyone as soon as you acquire that pet. Though, be advised, /pslap can only be used once per pet, as /pslap will actually KILL THE PET you used. /pslap, like said before, matters on the condition of the pet to do more damage. This condition is the LB it weights. If your pet is fat, it will do more damage to that player than if it was small. So try to feed that pet up quickly. You can also train your pet, feed your pet, give you pet away, put pet on a diet, or even eat it. Training your pet takes time though. Some pets can also guard your house, by attacking intruders. Though it is very rare, you can lose some pets from some automatic made-up scenario. This includes " Your pet has run off and cannot be found" or " Your pet has died from a disease. Before he died, he infected you with it as well". Also, in some rare cases, if you use /peta on a player, the pet may fail to attack the player and die as a direct reverse of what should have happened. You can give your pet to other players ( /givepet (id) ). This helps your friends that are in a bad situation ( mostly in a fight where he is losing or some bad case happens where he needs your pet for protection). The bad side is if you have only been using /peta and your friend uses /pslap on your Robot or Clown, then those very expensive pets die. If you can tell, pets that cost more are stronger than those that are cheaper. A pet that costs close to 500k or more will probably last a longer life span and win more pet fights as he is stronger than a cheaper pet unless the player uses /pslap. __NOEDITSECTION__
== Cash Item Pets== Currently, there are cash item pets available in the cash shop. These pets are summoned automatically if you have one equipped, and will give a stat boost as well as a buff every so often when it is active with its fullness above 0%. The strength of the buff depends on the pet's fullness level, going from 0.1~25% for the lowest buff strength to 75%~100% for the highest (unsure what type of bless about 100% fullness gives). Pet fullness can be maintained by feeding the pet various items in-game. Max pet fullness by feeding items found in-game is 80%, while feeding items found in the cash item shop is the only way to get fullness above 80%. Fullness decreases only while the pet is summoned. Pet experience is gained while the pet is summoned, or by real-life time while it is registered with the pet trainer using a cash shop item. Rare pet % is the chance of the pet becoming a rare pet when it reaches level 60 (max pet level). Due to translation errors or whatnot, there are inconsistancies between what the pet description says and what it actually does. What one pet might say is "chances for deadly physical/magical blows" when it increases the damage multiplier for deadly blows instead of the chance the hit will be a deadly blow. Another pet might say "chances for deadly magical blow +??%" and mean an increase in % chance the magic attack will be a critical instead of the amount of damage increased for the magic crit. In short, DO NOT completely trust in the pet item description in game, as they may not be accurate.
Increasing your pet’s rank will raise its maximum level. At the first rank, your pet’s maximum level will be 5. At the second rank, your pet’s maximum level will be 10. At the third rank, your pet’s maximum level will be 15. You can level your pets by feeding them!__TOC__
  • Pets are an unlockable feature, available to players from level 3 onwards. At this level, players start earning eggs and hatching potions from random drops when completing To-Dos and Dailies, or checking positive Habits. Some eggs, such as the Gryphon eggs, can be gained only through quests, and not drops. Eggs and hatching potions can also be purchased with gems in the Market. Please note that quest eggs appear in the Market only after the player has completed the respective quest. The occasional quest (for example, Vice Awakens) also offers Generation 1 eggs and/or hatching potions as rewards. In addition, rare and special pets may be awarded for special events. Pets do not require food, but most pets can be fed so that they grow into mounts. Rare pets cannot be raised into mounts. Pets, like mounts, are purely aesthetic – they do not provide in-game bonuses of any sort. __TOC__
  • Peel's earliest known pet was a dog he kept while living in California in the 60's.On the Perfumed Garden show of 06 August 1967, he recalled the death of a very small puppy which was mourned by himself and the other inhabitants of his home in San Bernardino, and sounded close to tears. On the PG he would often express his fascination with hamsters, gerbils, dibblers and other small creatures. . In the UK his first known pets were his hamsters, two of whom were named Dandelion and Biscuit. He often referred to them in his late 1960s shows and his columns in International Times and Disc & Music Echo. Both names were used, for his record label and sister publishing company respectively. As Andy Roberts' points out in the notes to the first Liverpool Scene LP, his song "Percy Parslow's Hamster Farm" (also done on a 1968 Night Ride session) may have a typically whimsical late 1960s title, but was written after Peel and Roberts had visited the said farm, which "really exists". A photograph of Peel with one of his hamsters was used by the Daily Mirror to illustrate an interview the DJ did with the paper's "agony aunt" Marjorie Proops, in which he defended his decision to talk about having had VD on his "son of Night Ride" show in summer 1969. Sheila Ravenscroft mentions in Margrave Of The Marshes [ref] that when Peel's flat was searched by police officers from the Drug Squad, they even examined the hamster cages. In 1972, Peel moved to the country and had more space to keep pets. He had a sheepdog named Woggle, who later became his and Sheila's bridesmaid at their wedding in 1974. Apart from hamsters and dogs, Peel had cats, chickens and at one time kept a horse for his daughter Florence in a shed until she left for university.

  • Note, that pets in general will lose power during Normal, sometimes becoming very ineffective in Act 3 and 4. However, in Epic and then again in Legendary they receive a massive boost in hitpoints, damage and resistances, making them useful again. Immortal Throne added the ability to set the stance for pets to either passive, normal, or aggressive: * Aggressive: Your pets will automatically hunt down all monsters in range. Useful early on or when farming standard mobs, however, not advised when fighting bosses. * Normal: Your pets will stay close to you, but attack enemies that get close to you or attack you. * Defensive: Your pets will stick close to you and never take the initiative in combat. However, when either you or they get hit, they will move to take down the attacker. Trinkets and staves with Beastcaller's, Spiritcaller's, Summoner's, Invoker's or Ritualist's affixes add particular damage or armor to all pets. As for damage modifiers, however, only melee attacks seem to be affected from this.
