| abstract | - The Hyaxnox fighter was a model of starfighter used by the Hyaxnox Republic during the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire-Hyaxnox War of 1,028 ABY, it bore more than an uncanny resemblence to the C-73 Tracker starfighter, they were both visually identical, it was as if the Hyaxnox had just built a clone of the Tracker, however these fighters were far outnumbered, outgunned, less manoeuvrable and slower than the Ingzan and Bregaran fighters they faced, they were posed little real threat to the Ingzan-Bregaran fighters or bombers. After the war some were taken by the Imperial Navy, where they served as the Hyaxnox-class starfighter. They served on backwater colonies which were of little use or importance to the empire, they were easy to modify, however, so were favoured by imperial lords/ladies for there personal colonial militias. Imperial Lord Yáksó Ígídá owned a personal one called the Húntá Éagle, this one had improved shields, a better engine, 6 powerfuller laser cannons and even a cloaking system. About 300 went to the Navy's Special Vehicles Division to be modified with increased laser cannons, better engines and the like to bring the starfighter up to performance and fire power levels expected of the Imperial Navy, these elite Hyaxnox-class starfighters were named the Hyaxnox Mk II-class starfighter and served the Imperial Navy for a good century or so. The Hyaxnox fighter was also used by the Hyaxnox Colonial Force, this was a militia of native Hyaxnox who helped the Imperial authorities maintain control over Hyaxnox.
