| abstract | - Bumblebee accidentally told King Maximus that Kitty Pryde had saved a human prince named Ben Tennyson! Bumblebee said "I tried to stop her! I told her to stay away from humans!" King Maximus got very angry! He said "Humans?!" He captured Bumblebee and went to Kitty's grotto to confront Kitty! King Maximus said "I consider myself a reasonable king and I have kept my patience up until now, Kitty!" He walked up to Kitty and stopped a yard in front of her! He said "I set certain rules and I expect those rules to be obeyed!" Kitty bit her lip and began to explain "But, King Maximus, I--" King Maximus said "Is it true that you rescued a human from drowning?" Kitty said "I had to!" King Maximus said "Contact between the mortal realm and the Magical Realm is strictly forbidden! Kitty, you know that! Everyone knows that!" Kitty said "He would have died!" King Maximus said "One less human to worry about!" Kitty said "You're as evil as Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa! You don't even know Ben!" King Maximus said "Know him?! I don't have to know him! They're all the same! Heartless monsters who are only compelled by greed and will kill and destroy anything that's not like them!" That did it for Kitty, who couldn't hold it in anymore! She shouted "KING MAXIMUS, I LOVE HIM!!!" Kitty then gasped and covered her mouth! Bumblebee and the others gasped as well! King Maximus looked stunned! He said "No!" He then got angry again! He said "Have you lost your senses completely, Kitty? He's a human! You're an immortal!" Kitty said "I don't care!" King Maximus said "So help me, Kitty, I am going to get through to you, and if this is the only way, so be it!" Despite Kitty's pleas, King Maximus destroyed every artifact with his magic sword! He then set his sights on the statue of Ben Tennyson! He pointed his sword at it! Kitty said "KING MAXIMUS, NO!!!" But it was too late! King Maximus destroyed the statue with his magic sword!
