Cappello plays the saxophone, which is heard in the song "We Don't Need Another Hero" performed by Tina Turner (and played in her backing band from 1984-99), as well as "One Of The Living" from the movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, as well as the song "I Still Believe" from the movie The Lost Boys. He also appeared in the video to "We Don't Need...". He has also performed with Peter Gabriel, Eric Carmen, Ringo Starr (including his All Starr Band), and Carly Simon.
