| abstract | - Created for spec-ops missions where sniper rifles would prove unsuitable, the powerful semi-automatic Nyx VX31 scout rifle excels at medium range. Nyx VX31 also has no bullet drop, which makes it more effective at long/medium range than Vandal, and it's NC and TR counterparts. Suppressor on this weapon isn't recommended, because it's effectiveness at medium range will vanish with lower muzzle velocity and damage drop-off. Compensator isn't very good choice too, since Nyx VX31 is not auto fire mode weapon and you shouldn't be spamming your trigger either. When you bring this weapon into CQC, you will make much better without it too.
