  • Henkenne Isle, sometimes called the Isle of Beasts is the 2nd largest isle on this Earth. It is just north of Henkennes Small, which lies on both the north-south equator, and the east-west equator (it should be noted that the term "the equator" almost always means the north-south equator, and terms such as "East/North/South/West of the Mountain Pass" or "East/North/South/West of Farbdak" or "East/North/South/West of Henkenne" are used to describe something's location along the east-west equator) It is home to the Henkenners, an ethnicity descended from an admixture of Mattesmen (from Sugar Isle, and Kneypenn), and Oremen (from the Sefenlands). Henkenne is a geographically isolated isle home to many strange species including elephants, and dwarf elephants (on the northern shore), rhinos, ghost monkeys (lemurs) like aye-ayes, ghost monkey-like longmen known as the Moris, sabre-toothed thycats, sabre-toothed cats (which are outcompeting the thycats), bearcats, orange zebra bears (pandas with orange colorizations on their bodies), and giant nightflyers (bats). Henkenne's trees are gigantic and wide often called widewoods. Notably, no dragons are native to Henkenne, neither are any monkeys or apes. During the Age of Terror a race of near-humans of below average height inhabited the isle but they were wiped out about the year CC: 1,000 when Eastern Islanders arrived there for the first time. It is believed that they had waged war with the Moris for thousands of years, before the Moris eventually helped humankind destroy them. In the tongue of the Moris these people are known as Ithsmany or "the Scourge." Henkenne is named for King Henia (Henkenner: "Friend") of Kneypenn who finded the 1st Henkenner Dynasty of Kings 3,000 years prior to Tale of Zul when Henkenne is fighting for its independence. Snarl Harbor is a harbor on the isle.
