abstract
  • Commander Lisa Kennedy was a character in The Bill during 2010, when she was the Area Commander for Canley. It is believed she was in charge in 2009 as she tells recently promoted Superintendent Jack Meadows she voted against his recommendation for promotion from his predecessor John Heaton. She first appeared when she led the investigation into allegations of assault against Sergeant Callum Stone. She appeared to see how morale was in Protect & Serve after PCs Nate Roberts and Benjamin Gayle were shot at whilst on a call. In Ricochet she appeared when a teenager was shot dead, and she appeared as the investigation progressed in Impact. She also appeared in The Truth Will Out when Stone suspension was revoked. She appeared for the final time in the two part series Great Power & Great Responsibility. After a near riot before a football match a fan is killed. However she was thrown into turmoil when her son Mark was seen chasing the suspect on CCTV, and it appears he lied to protect the murders and disposed of the knife. Mark Kennedy was charged with perverting the course of justice, and Lisa was never seen again at Sun Hill after this.
