He was a scholar, and so named it for his god, the Deer King as Laandan, from Laolintolk, "Deer-Town," Lantonne, the capital of Bredenn Isle, and from Sefenlander Danaal, "Given to God," and "dan" from a purposeful misspelling of "dam," as the livelihood of the town would be a dam, and also in reference to the meaning as "gift."
