For nearly twenty years, The Jedi and the Republic had been struggling to deal with their inner turmoil, but since The Dark Hero united the criminal underworld from war, killed one of the corrupted Jedi Masters and Republic generals, and destroyed HK-02, along with the remaining HK-50 droids, the Republic started going uphill once again. Overtime, most of the corruption has been cleansed of, allowing the rest of the Republic to finally rebuild itself smoothly. Meanwhile, The Sith Empire, while still in hiding from the rest of the galaxy, was fighting through the darkest moments in its history, the Great Sith Civil War. By the end of the civil war, The Empire had nearly entirely collapsed. The Black Republic period lasted roughly around 3,950 BBY to 3,931 BBY.
