Daphne is kidnapped, but found by Shaggy and Scooby, bound and gagged in a tomb. They ungag her, and she reveals the ghosts grabbed her. They are shut in the tomb, but escape. They finally discover the ghosts are created by film projections, and the real ones were caused by two coach drivers.

In the end, They learn that Senior Cepeda and Heather were trying to use a moon miner made over to look like a dinosaur to mine the gold in the mine exhibit.
