| abstract | - Outbreaks is an open-world action role-playing survival horror game, developed by Techland and Terminal Reality and published by Werewolf Studios and Bohemia Interactive for Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Unlike having to be a campaign of it's own, the idea of "Outbreaks" was for it to be an online game, where the player is able to customize their own character and name their own character. As the Survivor, the player will start on a unknown island located and as the player escapes, the player must search out to other locations (Such as USA, Canada, Brittan and Australia) and the player must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and medicine, while killing or avoiding zombies, and killing, avoiding or co-opting other players in an effort to survive the world-wide apocalypse. Outbreaks was in development from 2011 and was finished in 2016. The companies of the game approached DayZ's Bohemia Interactive and Bohemia agreed to help and support the game. After the game's release, the game was praised with positive reviews. Under construction.
