  • "I Say I Deserve Better Than This" is a song by British indie pop band The Seymours. It was released on December 6, 2007 and peaked at #20 in the UK charts. The song was premiered at the 11th Annual IMA Ceremony as the last of three songs performed with jazz group Chicago Wind, then in a more soul-like take. The final version is closer to the group's sound and was released as the first single from the album The Seymours. The lyrics deal with an unnamed character who is rapidly becoming reclusive due to his/her borderline personality disorder.

In an interview promoting the album, Ian Picholl stated that "I Say I Deserve Better Than This" is the "archetypical Seymours song" and that it "defines The Seymours". The b-sides "Trés Chic" and "Trés Fou" are two short instrumentals that were originally used at the beginning and end of the Seymours' early live performances as "Intro" and "Outro", respectively.
