  • Hanna Matilda Roggeveen (née Schneijders; born August 6, 1953) is a Bijani stateswoman, former attorney and politician, who has served as the 8th President of Bijan since July 1, 2009. She is the first female, as well as the first member of Bijan's minority Dutch community to hold the office of President. Prior to being elected President, she had served as a member of the Bijani House of Representatives from 1997 to 2009. In addition to her political career, she had a long and extensive career in different legal and non-governmental organizations. She was, among other things, a proponent of equal rights for women and LGBT citizens in Bijan.
