With the ability to carry out a variety of roles on missions the Scythe is known throughout Confederacy space as an efficient fighter that cannot be given a mission that it could not complete. While most military men would view this as arrogant and a sure way to get yourself killed in a fight it has been proven time and time again against many different enemies as the fighter still amazes those who fly it. Having been through two upgrades since it began it's take over of hangers across the Confederacy the Scythe is a top of the line fighter without many faults. It's first major upgrade comes from a state of the art maneuverability system that involves the use of powerful HX-85 adjustable hull hidden vent jets that open and close while the fighter moves. This added system along with the addition of advanced sublight engine technology developed along with the help of both Sienar Fleet Systems and several sublight engine designers from the Yag'Dhul system gives this fighter a distinct advantage against nearly every fighter it will ever come up against.
