  • Captain Talan is a large strong battle-hardened warrior. He leads Asylia's Sky Guard and their Burners. He was deeply respected by most of Asylia's people. He was trusted by the Guardians and sometimes the Diviner in many matters of great importance. His wisdom and battle prowess was shown to be immense. He lead the Burners for many years into many dangerous missions. He was portrayed as in a positive light as a man of action. He was highly regarded by Rohn and Jevon. Captain Talan's Mokai counterpart is General Atta-kai. There are many parallels between Captain Talan and General Atta-kai. In appearence both of them are darker skinned than most of the other characters in the game. Both of them are veterans of great skill. Both are also the military leaders of their respective nations. They both yearn for peace between their nations because they are weary of the war. And ultimately both were assasinated by Loden on the orders of the Diviner. He is middle-aged, dark-skinned and has very thin, short gray hair and beard. He has the traditional red dragon-riding armor that is worn by all Asylian captains. He was the first among the Asylians to doubt the diviner. His suspicions proved true as he was killed by a member of his own unit: Loden. His death was covered up by the Diviner's orders. The lie that was spread was that Talan was killed by General Atta-kai during the negotiations during the Crossing at Dawn.
