The mission's importance to the ACF meant it was lead by the ACF's leader personally. The leader of the ACF was a Talortai called Dennai Ven, he hated the Imperials who he thought of as dis-honourable and cowardly. He also hated the oppression and anti-alienism of the Empire. He formed the ACF soon after Palpatine proclaimed the New Order and the Imperial oppressive and anti-alien policies began. As a Talortai, Dennai was an inferior "Non-human" and was forced by new Imperial authorities to move to the Alien Protection Zone however he went on the run into the undercity where he decided to fight back as a Coruscanti to free his people and his planet from the evil Empire. He spread word around that he was building a resistance force to take on the Empire and many undercity-dwellers flocked to him. They used guerilla tactics, striking Imperial forces and then falling back into the undercity where the maze of roads and alleys made it nearly impossible to find them, also threats from zombie-like creatures and other such dangers meant that the Imperials didnt stay around for long to look for the guerillas. Eventually word of his resistance movement reached above the undercity and oppressed citizens brave to enough to put their life on the line to fight the Empire joined the ACF.
