It is a fairly broad stone building with a large common room, a decent kitchen, several private rooms, an attached stable and even a small library. In 998 NE the innkeeper was Basel Gill. Other staff included the cook, several maids and a strongarm to guard the door, named Lamgwin Dorn. Rand al'Thor and Mat Cauthon were directed to the Queen's Blessing by Thom Merrilin, a friend of Gill's, and there were reunited with Perrin, Egwene, Moiraine and Lan here. It was also here where Rand al'Thor first met Loial. The Queen's Blessing was a meeting point for those who supported Queen Morgase during the tensions that plagued the city over the parading of Logain through the city. After Rand's visit, the inn enjoyed peace for a time, until Morgase had to flee the city and Martyn Tallanvor enlisted Basel Gill and Lamgwin's aid in helping them escape.
