| abstract | - Adam Warlock was born as Him, artificially produced by a individual known as the Enclave. Overthrowing his master eventually, Warlock departed to the planet of Xandar on it's prehistory, where he was hailed as a god. He would then become the founder of the Nova Corps, a peacekeeping force through the galaxy bent on protecting it. Warlock and his Novas eventually became the enemies of Thanos, the mad titan, and his forces from the hollow world of Titan. For thousands of years both waged war against each other, costing the life of billions. However, Warlock and Thanos agreed on a deal in order to end their war; Adam would give Thanos his son, P'Ter Quill, while Thanos would give to Adam his daughter, Gamora. Thanos, however, sought more power in violating the treaty, and attempted an invasion of Earth. Adam Warlock and his Xandarian armies arrived just in time to end Thanos' invasion. Declaring the Earth off-limits, Thanos begrudgingly retreated. He returned to Xandar, however, to attempt to steal the Infinity Gauntlet. Adam again stopped him, promising that the next breach of the treaty would result in Thanos' end. Given that Thanos attained the Gauntlet through unknown means and declared war on Earth, Adam is now on the hunt for Thanos.
