  • Archibald Charles Wilder (born April 30, 1917 in Melville, Saskatchewan; died December 24, 2002), more commonly known as Arch or Archie, was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). Wilder played 18 games with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1940–41 NHL season, registering two assists and two penalty minutes. He played with the senior Weyburn Beavers in 1935-36 and the junior Saskatoon Wesleys in 1936-37. Wilder retired in 1952.

Wilder played 18 games with the Detroit Red Wings during the 1940–41 NHL season, registering two assists and two penalty minutes. He played with the senior Weyburn Beavers in 1935-36 and the junior Saskatoon Wesleys in 1936-37. In 1937 the Detroit Red Wings signed him as a free agent. Wilder spent three years in the minor pros before being called up in 1940-41. After that season Wilder played for the senior Saskatoon Quakers in 1941-42. From 1942 to 1944 Wilder was in the Canadian military. He played in 1944-45 for the Calgary RCAF Mustangs and then stayed in Calgary to play seven seasons for the Calgary Stampeders. He won the Allan Cup in 1946 with the Stampeders. Wilder retired in 1952.
