| abstract | - Scoop Tomlinson is a fictional reporter from Planet Earth. His fame gave him the chance to visit Mobius and interview Sonic the Hedgehog. At the meeting between the two personalities, Tomlinson revealed he had met celebrities from all branches of show business but had never met Sonic. After stammering his way through his introduction, Tomlinson conducted the interview with Sonic, interspersed with the "superhero" scouting the area for Doctor Ivo Robotnik's traps. The reporter largely kept quiet, especially after receiving a glare for butting in. Two-thirds of the way into the interview, Tomlinson began to ask his first question but was interrupted by Sonic telling the rest of the story. Afterwards, Sonic abruptly rushed away, leaving Tomlinson to yell about how it was a "pleasure". From a mile away, Sonic agreed. The meeting had left an impression on Tomlinson and he wondered if interviewing other celebrities would ever feel quite the same.
