| abstract | - The Legion of Substitite Heroes team numbers dwindled after they were attacked by the xenophobic Justice League of Earth who wished to rid the Earth of aliens (including humanoids who didn't originate from Earth). As far as is known, the team now consists only of Chlorophyll Kid, Stone Boy, Rainbow Girl and Fire Lad. Over time, like many other Subs, his powers developed further and, during the battles against the renegade Justice League of Earth he displayed much greater control over his chlorokinesis. He successfully took down Storm Boy. It appears that he has told Cosmic Boy that he can now talk to plants, but one must suspect that he was joking, not thinking anyone would be stupid enough to believe him.
