  • Hover is one of the many Autobot-allied Mini-Cons who assist in the search for raw Energon deposits. He is teammates with Mile and Solar.
  • Hover (jap. ホバーリング Hobāringu) ist eine Technik, welche von Miles "Tails" Prower, E-102 Gamma, Dr. Eggman, Shadow the Hedgehog sowie E-123 Omega verwendet wird. Sie ermöglicht dem Anwender über dem Boden zu schweben, wobei er langsam absinkt.
  • The effect of Hover allows you to "Hover in the air" for a small limited amount of time wherever there is sufficient Jupiter energy available (indicated by glowing violet areas). This helps when it comes to situations where you must reach platforms unreachable in other ways. After completing Jupiter Lighthouse, this ability allows your ship to fly over reefs and onto land by either selecting it or by pressing B.
  • The Hover ability is defined as anyone who can hover over gaps. In LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, this ability was exclusive to Astromech droids, but in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga the ability expanded to two Bounty Hunter as well. This ability is different from the Glide Ability from LEGO Batman: The Videogame in that with this ability you hover over gaps for a short time without losing height, but in Glide you can go as far as you can, but your height decreases.
  • Hover allows the user to levitate. It is useful for crossing wide chasms where orthodox techniques for crossing (i.e. Bridges or other spells) are less effective.
  • Fly speed.
  • Hover is one of the Splegg maps on Minecraft Central. It was added 20th November 2015 and was made by rohan7890.
  • Hover is a helicopter that serves as a tender to USS Tornado, Hover can also do outher job's, sutch as helping to put out fire's and help evacuate people from sinking ship's. • Hover (ホバー Hobā?) is a robot that hovers at low altitudes. They only shoot when they're still, before Mega Man steps on them. Then they float until they fall into a pit and/or hit a wall, and then vanish. They only appear in Pharaoh Man's stage.
  • Hover is one of Firebrand's special moves. Firebrand will initiate Flight Mode. It lasts for 2 seconds.
  • Hover (ホバー Hobā?, Trad.
  • Hover is the term for the ability of a unit to suspend itself just above the surface of the planet and not actually touch the surface beneath it. Hover should not be confused with flying units. Hover is an important ability, as any unit with hover is both amphibious and immune to torpedoes. Units with hover travel above the surface of the water rather than under it. However, a command unit can still reclaim or capture hovering units from underwater. Only a select few units are equipped with hover, specifically:
  • Hover makes the Magic Gear hover over the ground, allowing the Mechanic to avoid traps and any magic attacks. * Requires the player to have Hover Booster equipped. Consumes a Magic Gear Fuel.
  • In Round 1, Tommy buzzes in first, and incorrrectly defines Hover as "to stop crime,.." then proceeds to name several episodes of WordGirl. Beau interrupts him and asks for any other responses. Phil buzzes in, and says he thinks Tommy should finish. While Tommy continues listing episodes, Emily buzzes in and correctly defines the word Hover as "to float in one place in the air." In the bonus round, Emily correctly chooses picture #1, in which WordGirl is hovering over Dr. Two-Brains.
  • Hover is a skill granted by the Steamthopter that allows the user to fly for a turn.
  • The Hover is an interesting mecha that will only appear at high levels. Its level is 10 and it possesses the power to launch a powerful blade upon you or do a two-strike close up slash. This mech has an odd feature of a large laser-cannon behind its arm. It never appears to use this cannon, but it is interesting non-the-less. This mech also has large talons that do less damage then they are capable of.
  • The town of Hover was named after Herbert Hover who purchased 12,000 acres of land southeast of Kennewick around the turn of the century. The town was platted in 1905, with the first post office also arriving that year. Mr. Hover had 18,000 brochures printed extolling the virtues of the area for settlement and distributed them nationwide. In October of 1905, the Yakima Herald wrote the following: Today, little exists of the original town, except for a few foundations and the remnants of the old canal used to bring irrigation water to the area.
  • Hovers are floating platforms that will shoot bullets to the left and right when the player is in view. However, Hovers can also be used as platforms and when the player jumps on top of it, it will move forward until it hits a wall. They come in two color variations, blue and silver, but both function identically. They are based on enemies with the same name found in Mega Man 4. Hover was primarily a farming town, and it was irrigation that made intensive farming possible. Without the construction of the intensive irrigation system, began in 1888 by the Yakima Irrigation and Improvement Company, there would probably have never been any settlement in the lower Columbia Basin. In October of 1905, the Yakima Herald wrote the following: By 1907, Hover had a population of 300 and possessed wooden sidewalks, a new school, livery stable, a 32-room hotel, opera house, saloon, railroad depot, grocery store, blacksmith shop, church, and post office. Unfortunately, in 1910, a devastating fire struck the town. The Opera House was destroyed by fire in 1913. Most of the buildings that were destroyed by fire never were rebuilt, and Hover began to slide into a long decline, culminating in 1954, when the government bought much of the land in Hover to make way for the McNary Dam. The rising waters of Lake Wallula ended up submerging most of the old town. Today, little exists of the original town, except for a few foundations and the remnants of the old canal used to bring irrigation water to the area.
