  • The She-Wolf was a minor antagonist found in the famous morality play known as Dantes Inferno and like many of the demons encountered by the protagonist was a symbolic evil who while not directly harming the hero was nevertheless considered a malignant part of the in-universe cosmology. The She-Wolf was encountered by Dante and Virgil during their voyage, the demon acting as a burden by blocking the path to a hill bathed in light - she represented the sins of concupiscence and incontinence (both arguably offshots to lust) and was said by Virgil to be doomed to eventually be dragged to Hell by a greyhound.
