rdfs:comment
  • The duel for the holocrons was a brief conflict in the underbelly of Coruscant in 154 ABY, in which Kyriel Windrunner fought Evangelia Maxico for control of the Sith holocrons of Darths Ramage and Chosis. Breek demanded the holocrons, and Maxico initially refused, believing Breek and Kyriel to be agents of the Jedi. Picking up on some of Maxico's comments, Breek hinted at herself and Kyriel being a new incarnation of the Rule of Two. The Mecrosa were doubtful, but Maxico agreed to fight Breek for the holocrons. Conscious of her injuries, Breek instead delegated Kyriel to fight in her place.

abstract
  • The duel for the holocrons was a brief conflict in the underbelly of Coruscant in 154 ABY, in which Kyriel Windrunner fought Evangelia Maxico for control of the Sith holocrons of Darths Ramage and Chosis. Maxico and her team of Mecrosa Order assassins had just obtained the holocrons from Rahli and Wek Lekatro, killing both criminals but losing Aimon Bathiriat in the process. Hot on their heels, Kyriel and her master, Breek Zagrev, chased the Mecrosa down into the underlevels, though Breek was hampered by injuries she had received in a previous fight. Breek spotted the Mecrosa below them, but was already spending of her Force reserves to keep herself mobile and alert. She had Kyriel break the bridge the Mecrosa planned to cross. Kyriel fought with the stolen lightsaber of Zee Pek, and Evangelia with her lightfoil. Maxico's Makashi-like style initially stymied Kyriel, who was unfamiliar with it, but Kyriel's superior training in the Force ultimately carried the day, and she stabbed Evangelia through the shoulder of her sword arm. Conceding defeat, Maxico surrendered the holocrons. Rather than have Kyriel kill them all, Breek allowed the Mecrosa to live, suspecting that Sith loyalists might be useful in the future.
