After the engagement they surrounded the inner colonies, the first attack inside the inner colonies was Beta Gabriel, the planet was taken swiftly by the confederate navy using a planet-wide flank, the next assault would string across Epsilon Eridani and Theta Eridani, later surrounding the last of the UNSC's non-home fleet at Tural, one of reach's moons, in a quick battle, the UNSC retreated and were shot down over the course of the next few hours, the fleet arrived and engaged the home fleet, this dragged on for 3 months before they utterly destroyed it and entered the planet, a long ground war ensued, and at the rebuilt New Mombasa, the ONI Alpha site was taken and the victory was claimed after 4 flags were risen all over the world, in each capital city: Sydney, Chicago, New Phoenix, and New Mombasa
